When you need to apply for a British passport, the specialist immigration lawyers at Ackroyd Legal can help. We will provide the most appropriate advice and guide you through the entire process, with the aim of achieving a favourable outcome.
When you apply for a British passport you will be required to submit original documents in support of your application. If any of these are not in either the English or Welsh languages, you will need to provide a certified translation.
If you were born or adopted in the UK, you must provide your full birth certificate or adoption certificate. If you were born after 1 January 1983, you will also need the birth certificate or passport of one of your parents, or evidence of their immigration status at the time you were born.
If you were born outside the UK, the requirements may be different, and your expert immigration lawyer will be able to advise you on the documents that you will need in order to apply for a British passport. Whatever your situation, Ackroyd Legal can help you, so please contact a member of our team if you would like to discuss your circumstances with us.
