With over 30 years of experience, Patricia is known as a vigorous litigator.

Patricia joined the firm way back in 1989, became a Partner in 1994, Managing Partner in 1996 and in 1998, she took over the reins entirely and the firm became known as Driver Belcher Solicitors.

Over her career, she has gained extensive knowledge in several areas of law and is known to be a strong, vigorous litigator. Between 1994 and 2004 acting for clients in criminal, matrimonial and civil litigation matters, appearing in Court most days.

To enable her to focus on managing and developing the firm and mentoring younger lawyers she returned to a desk-based role dealing with non-contentious matters in 2004. In August 2020, Driver Belcher joined the Ackroyd Legal family.

She combines constructive, realistic advice with a comprehensive service covering all aspects of commercial property projects and transactions and a full spectrum of corporate and commercial services.

Outside the office

In her spare time, Patricia can usually be found either walking her beagle puppy or on a tennis court, she is an avid tennis fan, attending many grand slam tournaments. She is passionate about travel and exploring different continents & cultures.

What the future holds

Patricia plans to expand even more the office in Southampton, focusing on the growth of her team and the Ackroyd Legal family.
